Lotte's Gift at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe

This August, Karin will perform in an extended season of Lotte's Gift at the biggest arts festival in the world, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Commonly known as The Fringe, the festival presents a wide variety of art forms: theatre, comedy, children's shows, dance, physical theatre, musicals, operas, all genres of music, exhibitions, and events. In 2008, hundreds of artists participated in putting on 2,088 different shows with a total of 31,320 performances in 247 venues.
Lotte's Gift will play at the historic Assembly Rooms, and will enjoy 24 performances throughout the duration of the 26-day festival. For information and booking, visit The Fringe website.

Karin is overjoyed to announce the arrival of her daughter, Alexa, born in August 2008.

Karin has been on maternity leave to spend time with her daughter but is returning to the stage this year.

Karin was recently featured in the Courier Mail’s Q Weekend as one of 50 Best and Brightest Queenslanders, alongside swimmer Libby Lenton, immunologist Ian Frazer, pop stars The Veronicas and neuroscientist Professor Perry Bartlett.

Lotte's Gift to tour internationally

Lotte's Gift is set to tour internationally in 2009 and will also appear in other parts of Australia after its very successful seasons in Sydney, Brisbane and Wollongong in 2007. Here is what the media has had to say about Lotte's Gift:

Lotte's Gift Soundtrack - Out Now

Karin's new CD, the soundtrack to the new David Williamson play, Lotte's Gift, a one woman show featuring Karin as narrator, actor and guitarist is now available. The CD features all the music from the play, with selected tracks from Karin's existing discography, as well as some new pieces recorded especially for this CD, including the much loved Adagio from Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez.
